Meet the Davis County Midwives!
Bonnie Baker midwife, cpm DEM Bonnie is a mother to three red headed boys, wife to a red bearded man, avid recipe maker, yogi, bookworm, and wanna-be world traveler. She has supported hundreds of birthing people in many birth situations such as home births, special needs, c-section, and unmedicated births. She has been serving the birth community since 2014. Bonnie is currently focusing her training to specialize in safe vaginal breech birth. She is committed to creating and maintaining a positive birth experience for a birthing person and their birth team. When Bonnie is not focusing on her clients or promoting safe and healthy pregnancies for all birthing people in her community, she usually can be found in in her garden, on her yoga mat, running, or day dreaming of traveling the world with her family. Bonnie wishes she had more time to read and sleep, but such is the life of a midwife/mother and she wouldn't have it any other way! |
Karina Robinson midwife, cpm ldem Karina is a mother of three, home DIYer and computer nerd. Karina became passionate about improving birth experiences doing her own research and having a wonderful unmedicated first delivery, despite being categorized as high-risk due to having Type 1 Diabetes. Karina's goal as a midwife is simply to improve birth experiences – by helping to reduce physical and emotional trauma, by empowering through knowledge, and providing a safer birth experience led by your own body. Karina also has personal and professional experience with VBACs and diabetes during pregnancy and can skillfully educate on things that others may not have reason to know. In her spare time she enjoys learning, camping and traveling with her three children and husband of twelve years. |
